Hi! I'm Kim (username Kim) and I live in Washington State. My husband Mitch is a career Navy man, and we've been married for 20 years and have 3 awesome grublets. Our oldest son is 17, our middle son is 9 and has such a joyful spirit, and is a drama king. Our youngest daughter is Mom's scrapping partner and is 7 and rules the roost. They feature prominently in my scrapping.

I've been scrapping seriously for about 6 years now, and have always been involved via the internet in some form. I am an administrator and co-owner of Scrap Shanty and work behind the scenes on the website and making sure our software is updated.

I tend to be a spurt scrapper, and need to work this year on getting my creative process to flow more steadily! The challenges here at the Shanty will surely help that!! I look forward to the things to come on the Shanty - and hope you will join us!!

My name is Candice Reszko (username kansas) and I LOVE to scrap! LOL! I just felt that should follow. We have been very blessed to have me stay at home with our two beautiful little ones while dear hubby goes off to work. It is not an easy thing most of the time but we are a family of faith here and have always been provided for. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and just recently moved out to Pahrump. It was a bit of a change but we really enjoy it here.

It has been about 4 years of scrapbooking for me and I just can't believe it but it's true. MADD actually is responsible for me venturing into the world of scrapbooking. There was this magazine program going on and everytime someone would subscribe to a magazine they would donate procedes to MADD. They had metioned something about scrapbooking so I subscribed to Memory Makers. When my first issue arrived that was it! Now I have high hopes and dreams either designing paper for a paper company or even starting my own paper company in the near future!!!

We love to travel and take tons of photos....all of us have cameras and we aren't afraid to use them! I love to scrap with paper and spread things all over the place and make things up as I go along...and I also like to play with digital goodies and not make a mess, it's so cool seeing what I can do!

We have three children, Nick who is 21, Gillian who is 24 (those two still live at home) and Katie who is 26. Katie is married to Joey and thanks to them (from previous relationships) I have two marvelous grandchildren, Charissa (5 1/2) and Damien (4 1/2). We also have a terrific dog, Freddie, who is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi..

For work, I am a project manager for a company that does data management for medical research. I've been there for almost 21 years and I really do enjoy my job. For play, I scrapbook (duh!), cross-stitch, read, and watch Mariners baseball.

As far as scrapping goes, I experiment with all sizes, depending on the album. I love to scrap our vacation travels, slices of family life, and especially pictures of Charissa. Damien is a more recent addition to the family, but I'm sure I will have tons of pics of him to scrap as well.

It started out as a way to meet new people since I married my military hubby and moved thousands of miles away from my family and friends but it has really evolved into a passion for both creating great pages and collecting cool stuff.

My family is the main focus of my pages and includes my hubby, two boys and lazy beagle dog. I tend to scrap chronologically and I am always way behind. Some of my favorite scrappy things are paper, clear buttons, sewing and did I mention paper.

My days can be long and stressful. Scrapbooking is my de-stressor and creative outlet. Frequently, I’ll wake up very early in the morning and scrap before work!

I’ve always been creative and loved art, and dabbled in fine arts including watercolor, oils, and mixed media until I discovered scrapbooking in 2005, and it’s now my passion. I don’t have children, so I scrap about me and my childhood, my siblings and friends, our pets, the things I love and do, the places I go, etc. I’ve often been complimented for my "outside the box" style, since I don’t always limit my scrapping to traditional formats. I am proud to design for Scrap Shanty and to be a part of this DT and look forward to sharing inspiring ideas and projects with you!

I have been scrapping since childhood, but doing it the "right" way since a Disneyworld trip in 2001. I love EVERYTHING about this hobby and can't imagine every stopping. I have several friends and family members who scrap (and give me pictures of their cute kids!) so I'm surrounded by inspiration, which is wonderful. I am the oddball on the team, the only 8.5x11 scrapper, and I'd love to have some of you join me on the dark side!

Hi! I'm Nicole (username webseitler)and I'm the Digi DT Coordinator for the Shanty. I'm a 31 year-old stay-at-home wife and mother to two beautiful children. I'm originally from Florida, but now I live with my family in beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. My obssesion with digi all started when I stumbled on a page full of free kits one day in 2005. Ever since that day, I've had a nagging urge to learn just how these beautiful papers and elements were made. So, I've started a blog as a place to share some of the things I've made as I discover more and more and more about digital design. And on Novemeber 3, 2007, I opened my own shop, Sugarplum Paperie. It's been such a blast! It may seem odd to some, but I'm a scrapper who loves both paper and digital layouts. I think that maybe I just love to be artistic any way I can, whether that be with paper or pixels. I'm honored to be a member of the Shantylicious Digi Sisters!

Hi! I'm Anne (username StormRose). I've been a computer geek since the internet was powered by hamsters in exercise wheels. My husband and I even met in an online chat room eleven years ago; back when internet dating was still mostly safe.

To be able to supplement our income and still stay at home with my kids, I started doing web and graphics design from home. I love playing with graphics, and digital scrapbooking was a fun way to preserve our memories and create beautiful things. I've been scrapbooking for nine years now and while most of my scrapbooking is digital, I do love to pull out the real thing now and then just so I can feel it in my hands. I also stamp and I love to alter things like picture frames, boxes, and whatever else I can get my hands on!

I have four kids ranging in age from five to fifteen, a small petting zoo, an alternative rock band, and a wonderful husband who indulges me terribly, and enables all of my crafty addictions

I've been paper scrapping for well over 17 years, and dabbled in digital scrapbooking off and on during that time. Since I've gone back to work full-time, I have found a real love for digital scrapbooking, as it fits my very busy life. I still paper scrap, just not as much these days.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me outside with my camera, my second love. I own my own photography business, Becky Thompson Photography, and it fuels my passion for capturing life in print. I thoroughly enjoy being behind a lens as often as I can.

Hi! I am Brigitte (username BrigittevT) aka Scrappassie Designs. I am married to Arie, we have 2 teenage daughters and a sweet little dog. We live in the Netherlands, at the lowest point of this little country.

I am always busy creating one thing or another, years ago I found out about Artist Trading Cards and got totally addicted to them. I have a huge ATC collection at home made by people all over the world. One day I became a member of an ATC group for digital ATC's, and surfing the web I also found the phenomenon 'digital scrapbooking'. Now this was something I liked a lot, and had everything I love. Creating, computers, photography, I felt I was in heaven. For a while I downloaded every freebie I could find (like most of us I guess), and than I discovered a bunch of great shops. I started to build a collection and made hundreds of layouts. And of course I got curious how people created these wonderful supplies !

This all started about 1,5 years ago, and now I design my own supplies and even sell them. I love the grunge/shabby look, but I own and create a wide variety of supplies. I have a blog where I show as many layouts as I can, hoping they inspire other scrappers. And also offer some great freebies there.

Besides designing I also create layouts for a designer-friend of mine and also proud to be a part of the Scrap Shanty Design Team.

What else ? Well, I love to read, books are a passion too. And I am learning to play the flute, so music is a part of my life as well. As a family we love to geocache, finding hidden treasures in nature. On vacations most of the time we go camping, see, nature is always a part of our life. So little nature left, but when you look closely, beauty can be found everywhere and often very nearby your home.

Hi! I'm Brook (username brookcampbell) I have been scrapping since I was five. My granny gave me a scrapbook and some scotch tape and I started keeping little scraps and memories.

I love scrapping. I love my 3 boys (18, 13, 8) too. I spend most of my time chasing them around at all of their activities. I am a really, girlie, girl so it is nice that I can take my lap top along with me to soccer practice, hunting or fishing. Digi scrapping lets me be with my boys and do what I love. I can take pictures of boys and sit down and scrap. I get all the journaling done while it is fresh in my mind. Instant gratification.

I have been digi scrapping since February '07 and I have learned so much. My style has changed and grown. Digital Scrapbooking is my passion. I am so excited that I can share my passion with all of you!

Hi! I'm Christi (username Christi). Wife to Rick and mom to 8 year old daughter Keirra, and 11 year old stepson Cameron (who lives with us.) I am expecting my newest scrapbooking inspiration in April. I have been scrapping for about 8 years, I started shortly after Keirra was born. My goal was to have albums to give to my children at thier high school graduation. Well now I am going to have to weed them out, because my kids are still young and I have many albums for each of them now.

I started digital scrapping mainly this year, I have tried it in the past, but have really gottin the nack for it more recently. I just love the nomess, and if I don't have something I need for a layout, I can download it, instant gratification, which is really convienent especially for a gal that live 30 miles away from a LSS.

Next to scrapbooking I also enjoy sewing, knitting, photography, and sometimes cross stitching.

I'm Jessy Christopher, (username jc.chris)27, a preschool teacher and a photographer here in Malaysia. Mixed parentage of Indonesian, Chinese & Dutch. I've been married to my sweetheart, Eric for almost 3 years now, but we don't have children at the moment, hopefully very soon! My precious students & family members are my fav subject. I started digital scrapbooking in October 2007, when I stumbled upon the digi-world while browsing. Still consider myself as fairly new to digital scrapbooking but it has become quite a passion and when I have any free time, it's the first thing I do!

Hi! I'm Tracy (username TracyK527) and I'm one of the new Shantylicious Digi Sisters! I'm so happy and excited to be here!

I live in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, with my husband Erick, whom I married the day before Thanksgiving in 2002. We have been waiting for the blessing of children for a long time now, but we do have two pups who are our current pride and joy. I'm very thankful for the happiness they bring my heart each day.

I've been scrapbooking for about five years, now. I started at a Creative Memories party when I signed on to be a consultant. I'm actually still a consultant to this day, but now I sell mostly to friends and family (and sometimes to myself). I still love my paper and scissors, but I caught the digi bug in September 2007 and I'm having a blast! Other than the Shanty, I'm also on two other CTs and I'd like to learn to start designing my own kits. I've recently started dabbling in template design and occasionally offer them for free on my blog.

Other than that, I'm pretty Type A and I like to stay busy. My husband owns his own sports memorabilia and collectible business and I handle all his administrative work full time. I'm one of four partners in a new weekend scrapbook retreat company (we're planning our first event for fall 2008) AND I organize a local Meetup group that meets twice a month to scrapbook together. I often teach layout and project-based classes, as well. My husband and I are both very close to our families, so add in birthdays and family celebrations and WHEW! Sometimes I wonder how I can keep up! :)

Hi! My name is Zakirah (username zakirahzakaria), a 20-year-old Malaysian digi scrapper. I'm a Graphic Design student at a local uni, hopefully to be graduating at the end of 2009. I'm the eighth child in a family of 10 siblings. I started scrapping on December 2007. Never tried paper or hybrid, but I'd love to try that one day! I found digi scrapping while doing a research for a college assignment on sub-culture. I didn't come up with a paper on digi scrapping though, but it has bitten me till now and I can't stop scrapping. I try to scrap everyday (at least one layout a day), but during the weekends I'll be a scrapping machine.

What I love the most about digi scrapping is the freedom to express myself. There's no boundaries, I can do whatever I want on my layout. It has also become a therapy for me. After a stressful day at school, I can scrap my hearts out and feel good about myself. It resonances this positive aura to me, and it keeps me feeling positive throughout the day.

I'm so happy to be a Digi DT for the Shanty. It's the learning experience that I look forward to everytime I log in to the Shanty. I hope to be sharing lots of ideas and fun stuff with you. See you at the Shanty!
